Being too busy for Larry.

As I walked past him I heard him ask those passing by (myself included) for money towards a downpayment on a cheeseburger. It brought a smile to my face and touched my heart, so my friend and I decided to get him a coffee and sandwich (there were no fast food places in sight). Stood there buying the coffee I was struck by cynical thoughts; thoughts that maybe he wouldn’t accept it and say that he wasn’t in the mood for coffee. Interesting to think that I was concerned about being rejected by someone who is rejected numerous times a day…I realised how selfish I am and how it was so not about me not feeling rejected, but about him feeling, if not much, maybe a little bit of dignity. We got the coffee and sandwich and gave it to him, and he was very grateful for it and positive. It was one of those wide open doors I could have stepped through, and maybe taken him closer to Jesus. But being pressed for time and with a commitment to the prophecy rooms we simply blessed him and told him Jesu

A tad of rain.

After getting thoroughly soaking wet yesterday, it feels good to sit here at the Justice Prayer Room writing this (the old-fashioned way with pen and paper, which is obviously typed in at a later point to actually post it on the blog). The atmosphere is chilled, and more importantly, I am dry and warm. I was neither dry nor warm yesterday. You might be wondering how come I got so wet. If you keep on reading and you will find out… Yesterday was the, oh so popular, St. Patrick’s day here in the USA (and I suppose the rest of the world also, though maybe not quite as big a deal in every nation on the globe). Did you know that St. Patrick grew up in Great Britain and was abducted and taken as a slave to Ireland when he was a child? Later on he returned after God speaking to him in a dream and planted hundreds of churches (I am assuming that he was freed and went back to Great Britain in between or it would be hard for him to return). The reason I posess this well of knowlegde about St. Pat

A short little note.

It's been a while since I wrote, so I thought I'd just write a really really (seriously this time) short little note to say I'm still well and loving my time here! Time is just so packed and I seem to be getting home at night feeling like the day just went, yet amazed at how much was packed in! This week we're learning the "Harp & Bowl" model which is the combination of worship (music and singing) and intercession (prayer) they use here. It's really kind of what makes it possible to keep going 24/7 without it getting boring. So I am excited to learn about that. We had a conference last weekend called "Passion for Jesus" which was great. And I got to be a part of the prophetic ministry in it, which was very exciting and I learnt so much. For some of you it might seem like I'm writing in a different language as you have no idea what worship, interecession, prophetic and all that means, but it's all good, exciting God-stuff. And you'
